2016 Review

As we look into the future of 2017, it’s a good opportunity to share with you a few moments from 2016 that I’m grateful for.

I’m thrilled with the positive response to my book, Farm Don’t Hunt, and how it’s helping organizations tackle the challenge of cross-functionally aligning around customer success. From organizational frameworks for leaders to specific programs for practitioners, I highly recommend sharing this book with your team.

Our own customers continue to inspire us, and I’m so appreciative that they continue to put their trust in our platform to to take care of their customers. Panaya grew their renewal revenue by 240%, while Wiredrive increased monthly recurring revenue by over 60% year-over-year. Their successes are our successes, and we can’t wait to hear more customer stories like these.

The explosive growth of customer success in 2016 shows how much the market is maturing, and as enterprise companies start to rely on SaaS and cloud products, the need for customer success technology continues to increase. Backed by Series C funding, Totango is committed to leading the way enterprise companies do customer success with the launch of our Enterprise edition earlier in 2016.

As I look ahead, I’m excited to see everyone come together at the Customer Success Summit 2017 where we can innovate even further and collectively look at what 2017 holds for the thriving customer success industry.
